Potenza Picena appointed Luca Martinelli as the assistant coach of Adriano Di Pinto. Born in 1982 in Recanati, he had an experience as assisstant in Loreto in the A2, first with coach Rampazzo and then with Fracascia. He is the son of Pierino Martinelli, president of Loreto’s women team in the 80’s and 90’s. The role of scout will go to Michele Massera who was coach in the youth department.
“This is an exciting heritage – said Martinelli – Carmelino did extremely well both in the B1 and in the A2. This is a privilege for me to work with Di Pinto. Everybody is talking about the magical season of two years ago, but the club did something exceptional this year too with a younger team. Working with young players is extremely gratifying. I really missed the daily life of an important club in recent years. I will give everything I have in this job”.
