Mission accomplished for Perugia in the Champions League preliminary round first leg played yesterday in Switzerland. The Block Devils had the better of Amriswil on a 3-1 score. The first two sets were tight but then Atanasijevic, Zaytsev and Podrascanin stepped up a gear, while Della Lunga did very well as he came on halfway through the second set. The return game will be played on Sunday in Italy. At stake : qualification into the group phase.
