Last week Italian Volleyball Federation FIPAV announced new President Bruno Cattaneo, after 22 years of reign of Carlo Magri, after the Federal Meeting in Rimini.
Lega Volley Serie A President Paola De Micheli, saluted the new FIPAV president: “I would like to welcome Bruno Cattaneo aboard, he really knows how to work, he’s experienced in Federation, he will know where to change and how to intervent, he has a long term agenda, he will need all the help of everybody”.

“We are Serie A – continued President De Micheli – we are a landmark for the italian volleball world. We ask to the new presidence, not for us a new attentino to volleyball movement and to our teams. Every day our teams work in gym with big champions, international symbols of our sport. The teams work on the territory, trying to spread volleyball everywhere, and we need a Federation who can reward our passion and our job, getting higher volleyball, in numbers and quality all around our territory.
I would also thank Carlo Magri for his job. He did alot of things for volleyball, with great passion”.
