The preparation of WiMORE Salsomaggiore continues and on October 15th at 6pm, in just over ten days, they will debut within friendly walls in the national Serie A3 Credem Banca championship against the Volley Team Club San Donà di Piave. Having canceled the midweek test at the home of Canottieri Ongina, the joint training on Saturday afternoon at the Palazzetto dello Sport in Salsomaggiore Terme in front of Stadium Mirandola, a “historic” opponent since the days of Serie B, will close the long preseason phase, in which between the best scorers include the spiker Fabrizio Ferraguti, born in 1995, who will begin his third season among the yellow-blue ranks and can now be considered a “veteran” of the team. “During the preseason we had some injuries but we managed to make up for this with the addition of some young guys who allowed us to give quality and continuity to training.”

In which fundamentals do you still have ample room for improvement?

“Certainly at this moment the block-defense correlation is the aspect on which we need to work the most, on some ball-changing situations we need to put the mechanisms in place but, all things considered, we are working on it and we are confident that this can be improved I wait”.

What Serie A3 championship are you expecting?

“It will be a balanced championship with many newly promoted teams. Maybe there will be three-four teams that will be at the top then all the others will fight for the Play Off and Play Out places. From fifth to sixth position onwards I foresee a fairly short ranking”.

What are your personal goals for next season?

“On a personal level, every year I always try to give my contribution to the team and improve technically on an individual level. But even if I had to score zero points and we still won the games, I would be very happy.”
