Rinascita Volley Lagonegro has completed its first week of preparation, ushering in an intense and gradual program of work designed to guide the team toward the first preseason friendly matches in September and the Serie A2 debut against Credem Banca on October 19th in Prata di Pordenone.
The coaching staff, led by coach Waldo Kantor, has developed a targeted program that combines physical conditioning, technical exercises, and teamwork—essential elements in this initial phase of training.
The days were structured on multiple fronts: weight room sessions, coordinated by physical trainer Vincenzo Ghizzoni, played a central role, with exercises dedicated to muscle strengthening, endurance, and injury prevention, ensuring a gradual but steady path of athletic growth.
Alongside the gym workouts, the pool provided a valuable tool for improving mobility and coordination, while also promoting active recovery after the more demanding sessions. This alternation allowed us to maintain a high intensity, while avoiding excessive overloads.
