Lorenzo Magliano will return to Porto Viro with another silver medal. After placing second at last summer’s Under-22 European Championships, the Alva Inox 2 Emme Service spiker took second place at the Under-21 World Championships, where he captained the Italian national team.

At the World Championships in Jiangmen, China, Vincenzo Fanizza’s team reached the final, losing once again to Iran, as they did in 2019 and 2023, with a score of 1-3 (25-15, 18-25, 22-25, 14-25).
