The first reinforcement in attack for Consar Ravenna arrives from Bulgaria. It is the 23-year-old spiker Samuil Valchinov, born in Plovdiv on December 21, 2001, 202 centimeters tall, coming off an excellent season in A2 with Banca Macerata Fisiomed in his first experience in Italy. Valchinov closed the year with 369 points scored, 14th scorer in A2, with 43 blocks and 22 aces. His volleyball career began in his homeland in Victoriya Plovdiv, where he remained for four years, then continued and consolidated in Levski Sofia, where he played five years, in Deya Volley Burgas and in Montana. Valchinov is part of the Bulgarian national team and is dividing his time between the senior team, which is playing in the Nations League and preparing for the World Cup in September, and the B team, led by Francesco Mollo.
