An entire region stood to applaud its champions. Domotek Reggio Calabria was welcomed and awarded in the evocative setting of the Calabria Region headquarters in Germaneto, in the presence of Sports Councilor Eulalia Micheli and a large delegation of management, team, and staff, led by captain Domenico Laganà. It was an occasion that will forever remain in history: promotion to Serie A2, enhanced by winning the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa. A trio of aces that transformed a season into an epic one.
Speaking on behalf of the entire club was General Manager Marco Tullio Martino, who made no secret of his emotion and pride: “Reggio Calabria is writing a triumphant chapter in sporting history with this promotion to Serie A2. In fact, we also won the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa. We were almost perfect this year.”
Martino emphasizes the immense effort of his athletes: “The boys played a very important championship in terms of physicality, tension, and commitment. They played every scheduled match, finishing with a historic result, deservedly achieved on the field. Kudos to them. We are here in Germaneto to receive a very important award for us, and we can only thank Councilor Micheli from the bottom of our hearts, who has been there on more than one occasion, including the final, to support our young team.”
