Itas Diatec Trentino’ captain, Asystel’s between 2000 and 2003, is preparing for the match in his Milano as an ex. “It will not be any old match”

Trento, 18th of October 2007

Itas Diatec Trentino is meeting Radostin Stoytchev’s formation at Milano’s Pala Lido live on “monday night” on the 22nd of October at 20.30.
The match will not be like any other matches for Trentino Volley’s Nicola Grbic who played in Milan between 2000 and 2003.
“If I said it was a normal match I would be a liar – the serbian setter admits – I belive it will be very emotional for me to be back at Pala Lido even as an aopponent even though Sparkling is a new team and there will not be many people I know there anymore”.
The team is strong from 4 consecutive victorie but Grbic asks for humility and concentration: “Milano’s place in the standings does not tell who they are. They started badly but have great potentials. Our risk is to play without energy or concentration which could happen after 4 victories.
It is not easy to keep the same good pace so we nned to carry on and take into consideration the fact the the last 3 teams we met did not play well and were not able to react to difficulties. I am curious to see what we will do against teams who will challenge us from the beginning”.
“We are playing really well even though we do not know eachother very well. We nned to improve undr many points of view working together. I am personally satisfied with the beginning of this championship; in a few weeks I have already been able to find a good feeling with the team but we all did that. I am lucky enough to play with great athletes, able to put the ball on the ground even when the ball is not quite perfect; this gives me confidence and peace of mind”.
