Modena currently stands with 22 points, just 2 above Pineto, who is safe so far. Still, every point will be worth gold in the remaining six games of the season. Padova seems to be doomed to go down with just 11 points, but then it will be a battle between Forli (17), Vibo (21) and Martina Franca (22).
Montagnani’s men are working on their fitness level, as they surrendered for the sixth time this season at the tie-break against Montichiari. After the road game agaisnt Modena, Pineto will face another big one, hosting Treviso on the 23 February at 8.30pm (live on Sky).
