Verona secured its presence in the playoffs for the third time in its history thanks to a 3-0 victory in Forli. The last time it had taken part in the post season was four years ago: Verona was knocked out by Treviso. This comeback in the playoffs coincided with another comeback: the one of Bagnoli on the bench. Verona will probably meet the league leaders, Trentino, is the first round.
“Trento is surely the strongest team – said captain Sottile – When you get to those games, you always say that you have nothing to lose but that’s not exactly true. Defeats are always difficult to take in”.
