Monza won the return leg of the 16th of final too. The Finnish team of Lakkapaa Rovaniemi was beaten away 3-0, same score as in Italy. Monza will now meet the Swiss team of Nafels in the 8th of final.
Emanuele Zanini (coach Acqua Paradiso Monza Brianza): “Useless to say that we are satisfied to be through. As I expected it proved to be a different game than the first leg, because it’s always difficult away from home. Besides, their gym was a bit particular. We found it a little harder than in the first game: we managed to win the first set thanks to our experience, then we did a good job of keeping control. It was not a great game, but in those situation, the result is what matters. Anyway, we won 3-0 twice and are through, we can be satisfied”.
