Great fighting spirit from Città di Castello who came out on top at the end of an incredible game against newly promoted Molfetta. In the fifth set, the hosts were well on their way to victory with a 12-6 lead but the guests found a way to fight back. The tie came at 13 when Visentin blocked Mattioli. An ace from Noda Blanco gave Città di Castello its first match point, cancelled out by Uchikov, who then missed his serve, though. On the next play, he was also blocked as the away fan celebrated.
