Led by an excellent Mercorio, Milan broke the ice in its second A2 season with a 3-1 win in Cantù, newly promoted in the division.
“We knew it was going to be a real battle – said coach Luca Moretti – We won but it was hard, we’ll have to get used to suffer like this, because the league is tough. We’re a good team but we’ll need to get even better to get easier victories, although I don’t mind winning this way, because you always tend to appreciate more the tough victories than the easy ones”.
