Modena has been designated as the venue for the Italian Super Cup 2012 that will put face to face the national champions of Macerata and the Italian cup winners of Trento. The event will take place in the PalaPanini arena at 5.30pm on Sunday September 30.
Last season, Trento had won it at the expense of Cuneo in Cagliari, while Macerata has won this trophy twice in the past, in 2006 and 2008.
This will be the first Super Cup played with the ball Mikasa MVA 200, as this is the new league supplier.
The game will be live on RAI Sport 1.
