Enjoyable come-back into their PalaTrento arena for the World Champions, who offered an exciting performance in their Champions League debut. Stoytchev’s boys swept the Serbians of Red Star Belgrade. In five participation, Trento has never lost the opening encounter. Djuric and Bari were rested ahead of two consecutive away games, in San Giustino and Tours but substitutes Burgsthaler (5 blocks) and Colaci (excellent dig) did an excellent job. Juantorena was MVP with 61% in attack, 3 blocks, 3 aces and a total of 21 points.
