Perugia obtained its first three-point victory of the season against Verona and made it two consecutive wins on its home debut.
Nicola Daldello (Sir Safety Perugia): “That’s a great victory! It’s been very tough, we got off to a poor start but fortunately I have amazing teammates who really gave me a big hand. The turning point of the game was the second set when we managed to find our way out of the tunnel. I am thrilled with this first three-point victory in the A1”.
Mauro Gavotto (Marmi Lanza Verona): “We had to win this one but we had a poor game, we were bad in every department. In the second set, we have been a bit presumptuous, then we let it slip away”.
