European cups

Round 2

Cuneo, Macerata, Trento and Latina gathered another four victories to stay perfect. The three Champions League teams are top of their respective group, while Latina qualified for the Cev Cup 8th of final.

2013 CEV Champions League

Cuneo, Macerata and Trento are making strides into this Champions League campaign. Piazza’s boys registered a 3-0 win over the French team of Sete in their home debut. Wijsmans and co share top spot with Rzeszow as the big game will be on November 14 in Poland.

Macerata left the Slovenians of Ljubljana no chance as coach Giuliani was able to rest Podrascanin and give a run to middle blocker Pajenk. They’re up next against the German of Unterhaching, just one point behind.

Trentino made it eight consecutive wins between World Club Championship, League and Champions League as it disposed of Tours in three sets in France. This allow Stoytchev’s men to keep up the pace with Zaksa Kedzierzyn-Kozle, their next opponent in Italy.
