Game 4 preview
A Sunday entirely dedicated to the Serie A2 with two quarter-finals game 4. Molfetta and Sora have already qualified and are waiting to see who they will face in the semi-finals.
Tonazzo Padova – Sidigas HS Atripalda. Padova went very close to make the upset on the road but could not complete the come-back. Totire’s team lost game 2 and was 2-0 down but fought back with determination to win the tie-break and get a chance to clinch qualification at home this weekend (score is 2-1). But Padova will be looking to repeat the breakthrough of game 2 with the push of its fans to send the series to the last decisive game. Bad news however for Padova, who will have to do without Filippo Vedivotto, suspended for two encounters.
Caffè Aiello Corigliano – Vero Volley Monza. Two thrilling tie-breaks have been needed so far to separate Corigliano and Monza and in the first two quarter-final meetings. And on both occasions the court advantage failed to lead to victory. Still, Monza remains ahead in the series (2-1) and will have a chance to finish it off. A first home win in the series for Fabroni and co would give them a chance in the clutch game 5 to be played Wednesday 10 if this was needed.
