This was a friendly game of excellent quality for Modena against the German champions of Berlin, which won their regular season gathering 19 wins in 20 games played. Coach Lorenzetti was without Deroo, Kovacevic and Piscopo but the team played with great intensity and competitive spirit. Pinelli, Bisi and Donadio were given minutes during the course of the game. Modena did well at the net with 10 aces, 5 of which came from Vesely. In reception, the hosts registered 45% and 46% in attack. Already certain of its fifth position, Modena will be in Latina on Sunday for the last regular season game.
