Latina took a four-set quarter-final win into the second leg to be played at home on Wednesday night against the slovenians of Calcit Kamnik. The Italians are coming off a road win in the league in Molfetta and now they need two sets to make it into the next round. If they were to lose 3-0 or 3-1, a golden set would have to be played.
Davide Candellaro: “We should not underestimate the task ahead. We should only have one thing in mind: win, even if we need just two sets to go through. We have changed the work in the gym, and with it came a different attitude from the team”.
