The CONI President, Giovanni Malagò, was welcomed by president Mosna and GM Bruno Da Re. “I have no doubt Trentino’s success will continue for a long time both at national and international level under the guidance of President Mosna” said the number one of Italian volleyball as he came to hand middle blocker Matteo Burgsthaler a special prize to reward him for his success in recent seasons. Burgsthaler received the bronze medal in the category named “Athletic Value” thanks to the league title won in 2013 with the team of his home town. Malagò underlined Trento’s ability to help local players to reach the highest level and said that “in many sports, it’s not always necessary to look for players abroad”.
