“Welcome to Sasha Starovic” said sport director Gian Andrea Marchesi at the press conference to unveil the new outside hitter. “I am thrilled to be here – Starovic said – Verona is a well-organised team and a club with important plans for the future. They had an excellent season and most players will remain here. I am excited to wear the Verona shirt. Me and the club have the same ambition, reaching the top four. We’ll also play in the Challenge Cup, a European competition which will help us improve as a team but also as a club. This will be a great experience for everyone, for us and for the fans”.
