World Club Championships 2016
Trentino in semi-finals

Three years on, Treno is back among the top four clubs in the world. Four-time world champion (in Doha between 2009 and 2012) and with the bronze medal in Betim 2013, the Italians not only qualified for the semi-finals but also secured first place of Pool B. Once again, Kazan will be in the way. The Russians finished second of their group and there will therefore be a remake of the Champions league final 2016 played in Krakow and a remake of that same semi-final of the World Championships 2011 and 2012. In the last game of the group : Trento had the best of UPCN on a 3-0 score behind good performances from Urnaut and Stokr (the only two in double figures). Van De Voorde and Solé shined too while Trento’s reception was excellent.
