The news on the Itas Trentino men’s bench does not end with the arrival of Fabio Soli; there will also be a new face for the role of Assistant Coach, which will be covered by Adriano Di Pinto. The forty-five-year-old originally from Milan (who has long lived in the Marche region) enriches the technical cadres of the reigning Italian Champion team, bringing all his long experience as a dowry, not only as Second Coach (a role he held in SuperLega also in Molfetta), but also as a technical guide in the cadet series (A2, A3 and B).
During his career he has often held important positions even in federal cadres such as Assistant to the Italian National Teams for Seniors, Juniors and Under 22. “I am about to experience a great professional and human opportunity – explained Di Pinto -; I have been in the world of volleyball for a long time but it is obvious that being able to work for Trentino Volley, historic club and reigning Italian champion, represents for me the maximum and the culmination of my career. I’m delighted to be able to work alongside Fabio Soli at the start of his yellow-blue experience; there will be many games to play and competitions to participate in and each one will need to be prepared to the maximum, with great care and attention to detail. I’m ready to help him in any aspect, as well as collaborate at 360° with every member of the staff; I bring to Trento the experience gained over many years with the national teams. In this regard, I am particularly pleased that our squad is very blue”.
“Adriano Di Pinto is an experienced and competent professional, with distinctly technical characteristics; just what I wanted by my side to be able to correctly analyze all the facets of the activity we will carry out in the gym on a daily basis – explained Fabio Soli – . For many years he held important roles in the federation and in the categories immediately below the SuperLega; since our first contacts, she seemed to me the ideal figure to be able to create a good feeling and complete the staff, with the aim of continuing to keep the quality of the work very high”.
