Seven games. Less than two months: the finish line, in the regular season of Serie A3 Credem Banca, is not that far away. That is why the points begin to have a higher specific weight. From here on out, you need to make as few mistakes as possible. And every member of the squad will be needed. Even for those who are at their first experience in a national championship, spend the mornings at school and will blow out 19 candles at the end of the month: that is, Matteo Galliani, the second setter of a Da Rold Logistics Belluno aiming for the playoffs. And on Sunday 12, at the Spes Arena (6.00 pm), the leader Abba Pineto awaits.

STUDIO AND GYM – «My first season in A3 – says the young setter- I’m living it with great emotions. Being able to participate in a Serie A championship, with the colors of one’s city, is the dream of any boy who plays sport. This makes me proud and, at the same time, stimulates me to improve». Alternating between studying and the gym isn’t easy: «To be able to get results, both in school and in volleyball, I have to organize my days well. This also involves some renunciations, which however I gladly do because volleyball is my passion.

COMPARISON – Galliani rewinds the tape of memories: «My debut at the Spes Arena is unforgettable. It still excites me to see the building full of people, ready to support us. Also because I was used to the times of the youth teams, when there were only parents in the stands». With the coach Gian Luca Colussi the confrontation is constant: «The coach gives me various indications. For example, when I see the central player arriving late because the reception is tense, he invites me to change the tempo of the dribble, holding the ball more. Or when the ball is off the net, the invitation is to turn towards the stick of the band: in doing so, the lift is more precise».
