Emma Villas Volleyball is committed to defining a feasibility plan that lays concrete foundations for the next sports season to be enjoyed in Serie A2. The last championship race for the Tuscan team is dated 12 March; since then useful weeks have passed to take stock of what has been built over the years with the blue and white club’s project and to define on which premises it was possible to plan for the future. The President of Emma Villas Giammarco Bisogno, who had spoken of two possible scenarios, declared: “Of the two options we had proposed, we are moving towards taking part in the Serie A2 championship even if the company will reduce the investment sponsorship given the current need to invest in other projects in Italy and abroad. We have started the evaluations, which are still ongoing, on what will be necessary to take part in this championship and also on the sponsors who intend to marry the Volleyball project in Siena and the facilities and arena situation. Work in this regard, as mentioned, has been started and will continue in the coming weeks. However, the intention of the company is to go in this direction”.

Confirming the concreteness of this new path, Giammarco Bisogno has started the evaluations on the opportunities offered by the market to build up the team’s roster for the next competitive season: “I have given a mandate to Fabio Mechini, as sporting director, to prepare the bases to form the team. If the operational plan is confirmed, Emma Villas Volley will continue to play in the A2 championship and will play its internal matches in Siena, the city in which the project has consolidated and will continue”.

A strong element of novelty is that the “pointer” of communication and development for Emma Villas will in any case be the youth sector of Volleyball on which we not only intend to continue the great work carried out so far, but to relaunch with the construction of a more ambitious project of Academy for kids that is an expression of the founding values of the original sporting but above all corporate project.
