PADOVA – In Saturday night’s game, Padova clinched its first three-point win of the season. It had the better of Forli 3-1 at home in a crucial game between two teams of the bottom of the table.
Forli paid the price for a poor performance in the first two sets, in which they never managed to keep up with Perazzolo and co.
Giorgio De Togni (Antonveneta Padova): “We’re thrilled with the points. We built on the good things done against Martina Franca. We’d like to reach the 9 points before the second half of the season. Now we’re going to Cuneo, the script is not as written as one might think, because we also went very close to get a point against Macerata”.
Hubert Henno (Yoga Forli): “Unfortunately, we wasted another opportunity to score points. Many things went wrong today, in the third set we showed our pride but that was not enough. We started making lethal mistakes again in the fourth, especially at the end of the set. We have an important month ahead, we have to get back on track and play the way we can”.
